Why patients choose Pancare

Care built around how you actually move.

Physiotherapy is a branch of science — a conservative treatment method addressing the treatment, healing, and prevention of injuries and disability. Every plan we build starts with your body's own range of motion.

Restore

We rebuild functional movement joint by joint, with hands-on techniques tailored to your injury.

Reduce pain

Evidence-based, conservative treatment that addresses pain at its source — not just the symptom.

Promote health

Long-term programmes that keep you active, mobile, and independent well beyond recovery.

Physiotherapy is a branch of science — a conservative treatment method addressing the treatment, healing, and prevention of injuries and disability.

"At Pancare, we are dedicated to restoring and maintaining functional movement, reducing pain, and promoting your personal health."

Based at Mengo Hospital in Kampala, our practice treats every patient as an individual case — assessing range of motion, strength, and function before building a plan designed around your recovery, not a generic protocol.

Evidence-led assessment

Every treatment plan begins with a thorough, individual evaluation of movement and pain.

Hands-on treatment

Manual, active techniques focused on restoring safe, functional movement.

Patient-first care

We work at the pace your body needs, not a fixed session count.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Can't find what you're looking for? Call or email us directly and our team will help.

Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist?

In most cases, no. Physiotherapy is direct-access care, so you can book an assessment with us straight away. If you already have a referral, scan results, or a doctor's report, bring them along — they help us build your plan faster.

What should I wear and bring to my first session?

Loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated works best — for example shorts for a knee assessment, or a vest top for a shoulder. Bring any relevant medical reports, scans, or referral letters if you have them.

How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?

It depends on your condition, its severity, and how your body responds to treatment. After your first assessment we'll give you a realistic estimate, and we reassess progress at every visit rather than locking you into a fixed package.

Is physiotherapy treatment painful?

Some techniques can bring mild, short-lived discomfort as tight or injured tissue is worked on, but treatment should never be sharply painful. Tell your therapist how something feels during a session — we adjust technique and pressure to what your body can handle.

Do you only treat chronic pain, or sports and post-surgical cases too?

All of the above. Pancare covers the full range of physiotherapy activities — musculoskeletal therapy, sports injury rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, neurological physiotherapy, posture and ergonomic care, and pain management. See the Services menu for details on each.
